Our Business Consulting division is a talented team of experts working together to deliver consulting solutions that keep our clients’ businesses moving forward. As if we are an extension of their team, we provide full-service planning, design and implementation business services on everything from Project Management Office organizations to Gap Analysis and Process Improvements, including Reporting Systems and Risk Management for infrastructure systems and assets.

Who You Are

  • Knowledge of industry standard practices and requirements (GIS and Gas industry a plus)
  • Knowledge of the required overall design and project delivery process
  • Knowledge of the needs of a field operation
  • Knowledge of Primera’s quality management system
  • Knowledge of Primera’s project financial management tools
  • Proven capability to effectively manage projects
  • Demonstrate ability to construct/manage/coordinate a project team
  • Understanding of project management methods and procedures
  • Skilled in MS Office and MS Project
  • Good delegation, mentoring, and team skills
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Methodical and detail oriented for documentation and analytics
  • Inquisitive about processes, but having tact regarding external communications
  • Demonstrate experience involving maintenance/management of a database
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • General knowledge of web technologies and security protocols
  • Technical knowledge of GIS systems and GIS Interfacing systems a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operational Management required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 5 years of relevant Project Manager experience

What You'll Do

• Lead or assist in business development efforts
• Lead or assist in the development of proposals
• Lead or assist in the review and execution of project agreements
• Lead or assist in the procurement and management of all prime and sub-consultant services
• Manage project delivery and submittal of project deliverables. Ensures the projects are completed on schedule and under budget for both the client and Primera
• Develop and implement project plans
• Provide direction to project team on projects they are managing
• Represent Primera at client meetings
• Implement the quality management system for project delivery
