Judy Mast is our resident project controls assessment expert who is passionate about bringing solutions to customers struggling with portfolio management and reporting requirements. “I believe in the services we provide and I want our customers to know that from the level of service I provide,” she explains. Judy’s expertise is the result of nearly 15 years of project management and project controls experience in the utility, government, and construction industries. She has proven success providing innovative project solutions for customers with diverse and growing portfolio needs. As a seasoned program manager, she possesses excellent communication skills and an ability to capitalize on her project management experience to provide value added through project controls and process improvement.
Judy studied information systems management at Robert Morris University (RMU) before earning her master’s degree in project management from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She began her project management career at RMU where she managed the construction of large facilities on campus. She later honed her project controls skills at several power delivery clients before joining Primera in 2014. “Our project controls programs serve the project manager, finance, management and executive levels,” she states. “Having been in the client role previously, I have a unique ability to bridge the gap between an organization as a whole and the individuals involved.”
Outside her role as a full-time solution provider, she likes to read, cook, volunteer and travel. “My husband and I have walked the streets of Pompeii, stood at the base of the pyramids at Giza, seen the Czech countryside from a hot air balloon, and flown in a sea plane to the Dry Tortugas,” she explains. “We’re always looking for our next great adventure.”
