Our People
Tricia Cox

Tricia Cox is Primera’s resident change management and program management expert in our consulting division who strives to achieve client sustainability throughout every project. As she explains, “empowering key people involved with any project to own the process as theirs, is always my end goal. Ultimately, cost, schedule, safety, quality and resource management performance always improve.” Tricia’s knowledge and expertise comes from 20 years of experience in the utility industry involving operations and maintenance program development and management. As an independent consultant for half of her career, Tricia focused on program strategy and process development and implementation. Her specialty and passion include improving operational performance and providing the “front line” staff with the right tools to become a more efficient organization.

Tricia attended York College of Pennsylvania where she earned her bachelor’s degree in engineering management. Since 2011 and prior to joining Primera, Tricia was the owner of PJ Cox Consulting LLC providing independent consulting support to her clients. Tricia also worked as a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Utility Advisory Division where she developed and operated Project Control organizations for major capital build projects and developed and executed unit costing processes for programmatic work. Additionally, she’s worked as a Utility Manager, establishing Project and Contract Controls departments with collective and individual visibility to the contractor community performance. Throughout all her projects Tricia ensures a successful and collaborative working client-customer-staff relationship.

As a working mom, Tricia’s time outside of work is spent with her husband raising their twin daughters. They enjoy soccer, swimming, visiting their local zoo, orchards, zip line courses, or any other adventures life throws at them. Tricia is also looking forward to when she and her husband can share their love of golf with their daughters as they get older.
