Primera’s Unique Approach to Stormwater Management Featured as CE News Cover Story

Primera Engineers, Ltd. (Primera) is pleased to announce that our unique approach to stormwater design on the South Shore High School/Rosenblum Park Improvement project is featured as the cover story of the September issue of CE News magazine. The article was written by Primera’s own Nicholas W. Smith, PE, CFM, CPESC, a project manager specializing in stormwater management and civil engineering services.

CE News magazine (and CENews.com) is a national publication dedicated to serving the information needs of civil engineering firms, as well as state, city, and county engineers; managers; surveyors; and others professionals related to the industry. CE News leads the industry by providing news, business advice, how-to information, and management tips that engineers can use in their day-to-day operations.

“At Primera, we pride ourselves on providing our clients with sustainable designs and innovative solutions,” explains Ted Lachus, Senior Vice President and Transportation Division Manager. “We were happy to be able to save this client money and we’re grateful for the opportunity to share this unique project with our peers in the industry.”

The project received a 2013 American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Special Achievement Award. Hitchcock Design Group served as primary consultant and landscape designer.
