Primera Recognized at Design Partner Appreciation Event for Work at Denver International Airport

Last week, members of Primera’s Rocky Mountain Team attended the Stantec Design Partner Appreciation Event, where we were recognized for our work on Denver International Airport’s (DEN) Great Hall Program. Stantec, a sustainable engineering, architecture and environmental consulting firm, is a long-time partner of ours. The intimate event honored a handful of Stantec’s design partners, thanking them for their efforts and commitment to the ongoing success of the program.

Primera provided considerable electrical design work for this historic project, helping Denver International Airport in accommodating an increase in passengers and ensuring seamless and efficient traveling experiences. The Great Hall Program is one of DEN’s capital improvement projects designed to enhance security, improve operational efficiency, and increase capacity within the Jeppesen Terminal.

Our Buildings team served as the third-party electrical construction document reviewer for the Phase I design drawings. Additionally, we provided electrical design drawings for the baggage handling systems, ensuring their integration into the Great Hall project. In Phase II, Primera, as part of the larger Stantec team, was the Engineer on Record (EOR) for the Great Hall Temp Ticket Counter Relocation projects, with a primary focus on construction administration work. This partnership underscores our commitment to excellence and innovation in large-scale infrastructure projects.

“Working with Stantec on the DEN Great Hall Program has been incredibly rewarding for Primera,” says Anne Stilson-Cope, Vice President of Business Development. “Our long-standing partnership has been marked by mutual respect and collaboration, leading to successful outcomes,” she continues. “We look forward to continuing our collaboration on future projects.”

Primera is grateful for our relationship with Stantec and the Denver International Airport and is excited to see the design and engineering for the Great Hall project come to life as construction continues.
