Working For Primera
Our Buildings division is a talented team of experts working together to deliver buildings and systems that perform better. We provide full-service engineering and design services for both new and existing facilities. Who You Are
- You know drafting and modeling. You’re a CAD/BIM enthusiast with experience using AutoCAD/Revit. Training will be available as needed to elevate your skills.
- You’re a people person with the ability to interface and collaborate effectively with other team members. Your strong organization and communication skills will contribute to your success.
- You’re a detail-lover. You’re meticulous and have a knack for quality. We need someone who can draft and model with the best of them.
What You'll Do
- You’ll flex your drafting muscle. You’ll prepare drawings and exhibits from engineering and/or field markups for designers and engineers. You’ll coordinate CAD for projects and be responsible for initial drawing setup. You’ll assist in file management including, but not limited to, scanning, plotting, creating and updating project drawing lists and general drawing management.
- You’ll initiate project setup. You’ll create sheet sets and/or BIM models based on project requirements and company standards.
- You’ll ensure adherence to company and industry standards. The details make the difference. You’ll apply our standards, guidelines, specifications, practices and procedures in preparing design deliverables, and perform quality checks prior to issuing documents. You’ll archive CAD/BIM files in accordance with company standards.
- You’ll connect with people. You’ll regularly communicate and coordinate project activities with both internal and external team members.
- You’re a tech-savvy trouble-shooter. You’ll assist and troubleshoot drawing/software issues with team members. You’ll support plotter use and maintenance.
- You’ll enjoy what you do. You’ll work with great people, learn, grow and have a good time doing it.
