Who You Are
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong troubleshooting and follow-up skills
- Experience in MS Office and Windows 10
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking is required for troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Knowledge of computer imaging solutions and processes, preferably using a Microsoft solution (MDT, SCCM, or WDS)
- Ability to interface effectively with users is essential
- Able to work on support issues to completion with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Able to properly prioritize issues in ticketing system and escalate when appropriate
- CompTia A+ or MCDST/MTA Windows 10 or Equivalent Certification is a plus
- Windows Server knowledge is a plus
Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years of demonstrable level 1-2 helpdesk experience
What You'll Do
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, upgrade, and set-up operating systems, peripherals, and applications
- Upgrade, repair, and reconfigure computers
- Provide technical support to users pertaining to software and hardware questions and problems as well as a variety of other issues
- Deploy new computer equipment to staff and reimage computers as needed
- Instruct staff on procedures for utilizing company equipment
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot a variety of equipment problems
- Install switches and other basic networking equipment
- Assist with systems administration and upgrades when feasible
- Perform other duties as required
