Who You Are

  • You’re a talented professional with an interest in AEC (architecture, engineering, and construction) proposals. You are skilled in planning, preparing, and producing client-focused materials. You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have a strong desire to succeed. One year of experience in a professional environment and a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required.
  • You’re eager to learn and grow, and can multitask with the best of them. We’re looking for someone who enjoys managing multiple assignments concurrently and performs well in a well-balanced, deadline-driven environment. While we value experience, we recognize that talent and motivation are equally important.
  • You are interested in a proposal-focused marketing role. Unlike social media or email marketing, proposals provide a unique opportunity to reply to specific client requirements. Think story telling, organization, compliance, and collaboration. You’re a project manager at heart with a strong attention to detail.
  • You’re a people person. You’re friendly and enthusiastic about working in a fun and engaging environment. Connecting with people is important and customer experience is a priority. You’re able to quickly develop strong, strategic, and positive working relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • You’re a good writer, communicator, and listener. Your written and verbal communication skills are the envy of others. You have a proven ability to copywrite, proofread, and/or edit to produce high-quality deliverables.
  • You’re proficient with relevant business and design applications. Microsoft Office proficiency is a must; working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Deltek Vision, VantagePoint or similar CRM a plus.

What You'll Do

  • You’ll coordinate the proposal process from kickoff through debrief. From small qualification packages to complex requests for proposals and presentations, you’ll collaborate with our technical resources and business development experts to win work. You’ll produce and edit proposal content and maintain project and personnel information accordingly.
  • You’ll think strategically. You’ll look at opportunities holistically and help craft compelling stories to win work.
  • You’ll be a CRM champion. Working in Deltek VantagePoint (plenty of training available!), you’ll model effective use of our systems by inputting, tracking, and monitoring proposal tasks and associated activities.
  • You’ll support the growing marketing department. Teamwork and collaboration are a big part of why we love our jobs. You’ll work side-by-side with Primera’s team of eight proposal and communications experts to move the firm and our department forward.
