Anees Rahman is one of Primera’s most experienced electrical engineering experts. Anees’s contagious enthusiasm and passion for his work keeps staff and clients alike pleased to be working with Primera. “I’m excited to support Primera’s growth through strengthening our staff, networks, and relationships,” said Anees. His expertise is the result of more than 35 years in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. With over 100 projects under his belt, Anees’s broad range of capabilities blankets just about everything our full-service firm offers. He takes pride in leading our Buildings division forward and supporting the National growth of our Transportation aviation team at the same time. The scope of his responsibilities include design, quality review, project and client management, staff development, and project oversight.

Anees studied electrical engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago before building his electrical engineering resume over the course of the next three decades. Throughout the years, he added skills in roadway design, planning and studies, construction, plumbing, lighting, permitting, consulting, and much more. “Anees is the ideal team player,” said Ken Panucci, Buildings Division Manager. “He has the ability and willingness to support others, and always does so with a smile on his face.”

Outside his work, you can find Anees spending time with his wife and four grown children or volunteering at his mosque. He enjoys rebuilding cars (he’s collected and rebuilt more than 15 over the years) and homes. He has built homes for Habitat for Humanity and organized Paint-a-Thons for various non-profit organizations, painting the exteriors and interiors of homes for families in need.
