On Sunday, October 1^st, the Primera Foundation will be hosting its third Annual STEMFEST event at Brookfield Zoo. Having now raised over $100,000 since its inaugural year, STEMFEST is known for its family-friendly atmosphere geared at celebrating and inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders. The day is filled with fun and educational activities, food and drinks, and of course, plenty of animals!

All proceeds go toward scholarships and other programming aimed at promoting careers in STEM. Established in 2019, The Primera Foundation is a growing entity with a strong, singular vision. The Primera Foundation’s giving is focused in four areas: Scholarships – for students to pursue STEM careers; Technology – helping to bring opportunity into classrooms that would otherwise have minimal access; Education – sharing our knowledge and supporting other charitable organizations teaching STEM to our youth; and Mentorship – developing our next generation of engineers and architects.
