Primera’s head of finance and accounting, Melissa Clark, has been invited to join CXO NOW’s Advisory Board. CXO NOW (Network of Women Executives) aspires to provide a confidential environment where women in leadership come together, authentically share stories of success and struggles, and nourish one another through the collective experience. Melissa has been an active member of the CFO Leadership Council’s Chicago Chapter for the past two years.
“I’ve always believed that women in leadership roles have a unique position to help encourage and empower other women, particularly in a male-dominated industry,” Clark explains. “I’m excited about this opportunity to continue to do that with a truly inspirational group of other women.”
Melissa joined Primera five years ago and is responsible for the overall financial well being of the firm. She leads all aspects of the corporate accounting and finance functions with a primary focus on strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, process improvement, and cash management. She also mentors and leads the team responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance efforts including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
