Congratulations to Stacie Dovalovsky, PE, Primera Vice President and Transportation Division Manager, for being selected as part of Crain’s Chicago Business 2021 Notable Women in Construction and Design. Stacie was chosen from a long list of nominations received by Crain’s from women in the architecture, engineering, or construction fields who have made strides in the industry and work to advance women in these areas. 65 professionals were selected based on their career accomplishments, mentorship of others, and involvement in professional and community-based organizations.

Stacie joined Primera in early 2021 with more than 20 years of experience in the transportation field and currently oversees all aspects of our Transportation division. She is well known across the industry and has led countless public involvement/infrastructure projects while dedicating a significant portion of her career to listening to stakeholders and serving as the voice of the people. When not busy managing people and projects, Stacie uses her superpowers to help advance the profession. Since 2009, she has been an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies’ Illinois Chapter (ACEC-IL). Stacie has served on several of the organization’s sub-committees, facilitated discussions between members of the engineering industry and their agency partners, advocated for the industry on State policy, and provided avenues for better communication. She’s also a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion and continues to work to find ways to access untapped potential to further the industry’s progress and foster the next generation of engineering professionals.
