Denver’s Montbello High School Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

Denver Public Schools celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Montbello High School campus yesterday. The event marked the completion of the $139.5 million redevelopment project aimed at revitalizing the historic school. Primera team members, community members, students, and local leaders gathered to witness the transformation and celebrate the school’s bright future.

Primera’s Denver team provided electrical engineering and construction administration services for the nearly 277,694-square-foot, state-of-the-art high school. The new facility includes modern classrooms, learning communities, and enhanced athletic spaces, all designed to provide a top-tier educational environment for current and future students.

“This was a spectacular project for our team and for the Montbello community,” explains Anne Stilson-Cope, Primera’s Vice President of Business Development and former Corey Electrical Engineering President & CEO. “It is an honor to share in the pride and excitement for this transformation with Denver Public Schools and our partners at EUA and Eidos Architects,” she continues.

The project was designed by EUA and Eidos Architects and constructed by Adolfson & Peterson Construction.
