Primera’s Senior Vice President and Buildings Division Manager, Ken Panucci, PE, CEM, is presenting at this week’s Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo – the annual conference that connects all stakeholders responsible for the planning, design, construction and operations of healthcare environments.
Ken and the project team will present High Performance with High Stakes focusing on thought leadership in healthcare design. The presentation features the recently completed Center for Care and Discovery at the University of Chicago Medicine. This 1.2 million-square-foot facility optimizes safety, survivability, life cycle, and “true” sustainability. Ken will be joining: William Huffman, former Vice President of Facilities, Design, and Construction, The University of Chicago Medicine; Chan-Li Lin, Partner/Director, Rafael Vinoly Architects; Elizabeth Rack, Principal, Cannon Design; and, Paul Petska, Principal at Affiliated Engineers, Inc.
The Symposium, which takes place October 1-3, 2013 at Navy Pier in Chicago, draws the stakeholders, from design firms to healthcare owners, and engineers to construction professionals to collaborate, hear fresh perspectives and participate in the ever changing conversation of this industry.
“We are pleased to have Ken Panucci speak at The Symposium this year,” said Jenabeth Ferguson, Event & Program Director. “Ken has a wealth of knowledge to share with our industry and we are thrilled that he will be doing so at The Healthcare Facilities Symposium & Expo and helping us add to the value we strive to deliver to our attendees each year.”
