Primera Engineers is pleased to announce the promotion of Scott Kuyken, PE, to Distribution Engineering Director in our Utilities division. Scott has been one of our lead utility team engineers since joining the firm in 2015 and will now spearhead the electrical distribution team’s quality control and technology research efforts. He will provide QA/QC on all distribution projects and continue to mentor and educate our utility engineers on industry standards and best practices.

Scott has nearly 15 years of experience working on varying utility projects throughout the Midwest region. His expertise is focused on engineering, permitting, project management, quality, and team leadership for distribution, fossil generation, and nuclear generation projects. Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and is a licensed professional engineer.
