Primera provided consulting services for a large electric utility’s capital improvement programs and process improvement initiatives to improve their distribution system infrastructure. Some of the projects included:

  • Created and standardized portfolio and program level performance report templates, trained the organization in their use, and provided post-implementation support
  • Designed executive dashboards with predictive indicators for at-a-glance performance reporting
  • Developed portfolio risk management practices including risk identification, prioritization, response planning, and monitoring/reporting
  • Developed tools for increased transparency around resource requests and resource planning
  • Transitioned regionally managed programs to be centrally managed by the program management office and established program governance
  • Performed change management to facilitate the transition of responsibilities and trained essential stakeholders for new roles and responsibilities
  • Enhanced the project workflow to streamline field activities and increase efficiency
