As Primera continues to grow, we are continuously positioning ourselves to meet and exceed the needs of our valued clients. In an effort to be more accessible to our growing customer base across northern Indiana and southern Michigan, we set up shop at 9200 Calumet Avenue in Munster, Indiana. On Thursday, May 1, clients, employees and friends gathered at an Open House event to celebrate Primera’s commitment to Indiana and the opening of our permanent office space. Primera President & CEO, Transportation & Infrastructure, Pedro Cevallos was on hand to celebrate the momentous occasion. “We are all truly excited to have a permanent space in Indiana and for the opportunity to deliver best-in-class services and further cultivate our relationships with our clients and friends in the area,” he explained.
Indiana State Representative Mara Candelaria Reardon was on hand while Pedro and Primera’s Ryan Marovich presented Lake County Historian Bruce Woods with a charitable contribution for the Lake County Historical Society. The Society is looking to digitally archive historical photography in an effort to make them accessible to the public via their website. The donation will be used toward the purchase of the large-format scanner needed for this endeavor. “Fostering local communities has been a hallmark of who Primera is since our inception more than 25 years ago and we look forward to serving local communities and organizations for years to come,” said Pedro Cevallos-Candau.
Primera’s new regional office is located in Munster’s Lake Business Center, which sits on the highly-trafficked Calumet Avenue and offers easy access to Interstate 80/94. The former Simmons bedding factory has undergone major interior and exterior renovations by Simborg Development since December 2011 to transform the 72-acre site into a mixed use center of retail shops, restaurants, commercial offices and medical facilities.
Brad Minnick, Primera’s highway transportation expert and Indiana Office Lead is managing the day-to-day operations and is looking forward to introducing Primera’s commitment to providing exceptional expertise with superior service to clients throughout the State of Indiana. The office will serve our Buildings, Transportation and Power clients. Please contact Brad at bminnick@primeraeng.com for more information.
