Primera is pleased to welcome Ronald Hudson, AICP as a Senior Project Manager for our Aviation Group. Based in our Chicago office, Ron’s primary responsibilities include collaborating with clients on aviation planning and design projects at regional airports.

Ron joins Primera with more than 40 years of experience in airport planning and development, working at a myriad of airports and aviation facilities, both large and small. His expertise is the result of completing hundreds of projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars at over 60 airports, commercial and military facilities, ranging from small airport taxiway construction projects to large airbase planning and design. His experience includes land acquisition, pavement, NAVAID, utility, and building design and construction. Ron earned his Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Auburn University in Alabama.

In addition to his project experience, Ron has spent his career mentoring young engineers and technicians while cultivating long-term relationships with clients in the Great Lakes region and across the U.S. He finds joy in traveling, by airplane of course, to reconnect with his family and friends and proclaims that “an airplane ticket to somewhere is the start of a new memory of a lifetime.”
