Join us on Tuesday, June 23rd in celebration of International Women in Engineering Day for an evening filled with connection, inspiration, and insights from leaders across the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. Last year’s event raised over $65,000 for the Primera Foundation’s mission of promoting and advancing careers in STEM, pushing our total fundraising efforts to over $300,000 since the Foundation’s founding in 2019. We’re looking to grow that number even further this year as we host our third annual Forward Focused fundraiser.
This year’s theme, Reach. Rise. Represent. is inspired by International Women in Engineering Day and reflects our commitment to expanding opportunities, elevating voices, and strengthening representation for women across the industry. The evening will feature a cocktail networking reception followed by an engaging panel discussion with industry leaders, offering perspectives on trends shaping the AEC world. This year’s conversation will focus on local transportation infrastructure and the importance of empowering women.
Our notable panelists include:
- Anne Bigane-Wilson, President of Bigane Paving Company
- Beth McCluskey, Director of Intermodal Growth at T.Y. Lin International
- Craig Turner, PE, PLS, First Deputy Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Transportation
- John Trotta, Senior Vice President and Midwest Region Executive at WSP, and
- Libby Braband, Owner and President of LDB Consulting, LLC.
The panel will be moderated by Erin Inman, PE, President & CEO of Primera Engineers and President of the Primera Foundation.
