Erin Lowery is Primera’s resident project management expert in our Buildings division who serves as a true example of someone who has ‘climbed the ladder’ to success. From intern to mechanical engineer to now senior project manager, Erin has enjoyed using both her technical and communication skills in new and creative ways. As she explains, “No two projects are alike, which keeps things fun and interesting. As each project varies from another, I’m consistently challenged to find innovative solutions, while promoting teamwork.” Her expertise is the result of 20 years of providing mechanical engineering services and managing renovation and new construction projects from design through commissioning.
Erin studied mechanical engineering at Purdue University and is a licensed professional engineer, certified project manager, and LEED accredited professional. She interned with Primera for three summers before becoming a full-time mechanical engineer, and has since then continuously taken on new challenges with us. For the last ten years she has worked as a project manager on projects utilizing multiple disciplines as a prime and subconsultant for MEP, FP, architectural, lighting and commissioning projects.
When she’s not keeping multi-million-dollar programs on track, she likes to volunteer or stay active. For several years she has served as a mentor through various STEM-focused programs. She also spends her time coaching her girls’ basketball leagues, playing volleyball, or decompressing with a good glass of wine.
