Join PCWP, LLC – a women-led joint venture between certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) firms Primera Engineers, Ltd. and Cotter Consulting, Inc. – as we celebrate the outstanding opportunity to lead construction management services for Chicago Department of Water Management’s (CDWM) expansive Capital Improvement Program (Target Market).
This large, multi-year contract focuses on the transmission and distribution of water facilities to achieve CDWM’s plan to replace approximately 40 miles of water main annually based on a water main service life of 100 years. Beginning this year, all lead water services from the water main to homes and businesses will need to be replaced. PCWP will serve as the standalone construction management team performing oversight of CDWM’s construction activities.
Primera and Cotter both have a long history of improving the City of Chicago through experiences working with various Chicago agencies, including the CDWM, Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), Chicago Public Schools (CPS), Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA), and Chicago Public Building Commission (PBC)—among others.
“We’re proud of the team we put together to support CDWM on this critical program,” explains Erin Inman, President & CEO of Primera Engineers. “Our two WBE firms have the opportunity to lead and mentor a team that includes six Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) firms to deliver 80% of this contract through diverse businesses.”
“The diversity programs of the City of Chicago have enabled Cotter and Primera to grow our experience and expertise over many years to enable our firms to have the capacity to lead this incredible assignment to serve the people of Chicago,” said Anne Edwards-Cotter, President & CEO of Cotter Consulting.
PCWP is a collaborative effort, comprised of multiple members. Additional PCWP team members include the following firms: AECOM, DB Sterlin Consultants, Inc.
