Primera has been using sustainable design and sustainable business practices for so long that it is now essentially a part of our every day business operations. However, for over 10 years we have also been documenting our carbon footprint in an effort to take ownership of our personal contribution in the fight against climate change.
We have used this information to identify waste or inefficiencies within our business and have used it to make informed decisions in order to reduce our output. It also gives our employees a snapshot of how their behaviors are also impacting the carbon footprint of the company. For 2019, we have added our newest office locations to our analysis and have measured our carbon emissions through the following sources: office electricity usage, paper usage, water usage, and employee commutes.
