On Sunday, October 3rd, the Primera Foundation hosted its inaugural fundraising event, STEMFEST, at Brookfield Zoo. We are proud of the organization’s efforts and happy to report that they raised over $57,000 in support of STEM education in our communities.
The Foundation’s event kicked off the day with a picnic buffet and bar, carousel ride, games, face painting, photo booth and cartoonist. Guests were also free to roam the zoo grounds and attend the many wonderful exhibits throughout. The weather held up beautifully and everyone enjoyed themselves, all for a great cause!
