Who You Are

  • You have at least 2 years of experience. High School Diploma required.
  • You have knowledge of Electrical Standards for lighting, power, and fire alarm systems.
  • You have knowledge of key design aspects of electrical lighting, and fire alarm systems.
  • You have knowledge of electrical circuiting for power and lighting.
  • You have knowledge of key architectural considerations for electrical equipment such as electrical room sizing, clearances, and reflected ceiling plans.
  • You have knowledge of electrical characteristics of mechanical, plumbing and other equipment.
  • You have proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • You have knowledge of Electrical calculation software tools.
  • You’re a team player with excellent communication skills.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll prepare electrical power system and lighting calculations under supervision.
  • You’ll perform layout of wiring devices, lighting fixtures, and low voltage system devices including circuiting under supervision.
  • You’ll perform layout of electrical distribution equipment under supervision.
  • You’ll prepare electrical schedules, riser diagrams, and details under supervision.
  • You’ll assist with field surveys of electrical equipment and systems.
  • You’ll be responsible for Project CAD Coordination.
  • You’ll assist with project documentation, including calculations, project filing, etc.
  • You’ll interfaces with vendors under supervision.

Starting salary is between $75,000 – $100,000 based on skills and qualifications, with the high end of the range limited to applicants based on relevant years of experience.
