Mandy Bowers oversees Primera’s proposal team and process, bringing more than 20 years of experience in marketing, communications, and public relations to her role. She guides the development of clear, client‑focused responses for pursuits across all divisions. “I enjoy supporting pursuit planning, strengthening messages, and helping technical staff feel prepared and confident,” she says, a philosophy that reflects her people‑centered approach and commitment to elevating the firm’s voice.
Mandy studied journalism at the University of Nebraska before building a diverse career in marketing and communications, spanning writing, editing, publication management, campaign strategy, and event planning. She later advanced into senior marketing roles within civil and transportation engineering firms, where she refined her skills in proposal coordination, pursuit planning, and technical collaboration. From early positioning through final production, Mandy partners with technical staff to translate complex project details into readable, persuasive content.
Outside the office, Mandy’s world revolves around her family. Much of her time is spent supporting her children’s high school activities and enjoying the outdoors together. She also recharges by spending time with friends, attending concerts, and taking on creative projects that don’t come with deadlines. She volunteers with her children’s high school band boosters organization, supports fundraising and program events, and serves in her church’s children’s ministry.
