Primera Engineers will be joining the Airport Consultants Council (ACC) in Philadelphia November 5th – 7th for their 47th Annual Conference. The conference features professional programs highlighting major airport development issues related to the interests of ACC members. Each year, the conference serves as a unique chance to discuss teaming opportunities, address business concerns, and participate in cutting-edge workshops and discussions.
This year, our Aviation Department Manager and longtime ACC member, Joe Avram, is on the Conference Planning Committee. Joe, and the rest of the committee, is proudly organizing the ElevateSTEM segment on the second day of the conference. This event brings together more than fifty local high school students to learn about career opportunities within the aviation field. It’s a powerful way to connect industry professionals with the next generation of talent.
“It’s critical to get younger folks excited about engineering, especially civil engineering,” says Joe. “I’m an active advocate for our future engineers and ElevateSTEM is the perfect opportunity to help students explore what’s possible.” Joe is also the Giving Advisory Council Chair for the Primera Foundation, whose mission is to inspire students to see themselves in STEM careers.
