Primera Engineers is pleased to announce the promotion of Kendahle Artis to Vice President of Human Resources. Kendahle leads and manages Primera’s human resources and administration teams with a constant focus on our people and our culture. In her expanded role, she will join the firm’s executive team to develop and implement strategies to support our regional growth efforts.

In nearly ten years with Primera, Kendahle has had a profound impact on the company. After consolidating and expanding our human resources, benefits and recruiting teams, she also assumed the leadership of our administration team. Since our ownership transition in 2016, she has championed our comprehensive performance review process, helping nearly every employee and manager have meaningful and productive conversations. She and her team have hired and onboarded nearly 50 people per year for the last several years – including a noteworthy list of group, department, and division manager positions over the last 12 months. She was instrumental in the move of our Corporate Headquarters to 550 W. Jackson in 2020 as well as helping the firm and our employees navigate the global pandemic.

Her expertise is the result of more than 15 years of experience in human resource management. Kendahle’s key specialties include: payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment and talent management, training, performance management, and wellness initiatives. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Human Resources from Southern Illinois University and previously served as Director of Human Resources.
