Rina Vidri, PE, LEED AP BD+C Promoted to Sr. Mechanical Group Manager

Primera is happy to announce the promotion of Rina Vidri, PE, LEED AP BD+C, to Senior Mechanical Group Manager. As our Mechanical group lead for the past five years, Rina has proven her ability to solve technical issues, successfully manage a team, and provide clients with first-rate service. In her new role, Rina will continue to oversee the mechanical aspect of all our buildings projects while also aiding in process improvements, contributing to business development efforts, and ensuring quality assurances for all phases of project development.

Rina earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Riga Technical University in Latvia. She moved to the United States with her family and began her career as an associate engineer, utilizing her unique blend of creative-thinking and technical skills to propel her career further. She joined Primera in 2012. Her experience and dedication to our firm make her the perfect person to oversee the development and execution of all mechanical engineering projects.

Recently, Rina served as a lead mechanical engineer for the David M. Rubenstein Forum [pictured above], a new building at the University of Chicago. She designed the HVAC utilizing energy efficient systems. This project won the 2022 ACEC-IL Engineering Excellence Award, was recognized for its engineering systems, and the 2021 ASHRAE Technology Award.
