Celebrating Project Management Promotions in our Buildings Division

“Erin and Colleen have each demonstrated exceptional leadership throughout their careers at Primera,” says Ken Panucci, Senior Vice President, Buildings Division Manager. “These well-deserved promotions recognize their skills in managing and delivering complex projects with Primera’s commitment to industry-leading client service at the forefront.”

Both Erin and Colleen are long-time Primera employees, contributing to some of the firm’s most noteworthy projects. Erin Lowery has built her career at Primera, joining as a mechanical engineering intern 25 years ago. An instrumental part of Primera’s project delivery team, she has developed and exercised her skills by managing high-profile projects including the state-of-the-art lion and great ape houses at Lincoln Park Zoo, as well as an indoor exhibit for the U-505 submarine at Chicago’s Griffin Museum of Science and Industry. In the last five years or so, Erin has been a key player in the success of our commissioning team, project managing nearly all of Primera’s commissioning projects.

Colleen joined Primera in 2015 in our Utilities division and transitioned to a leading project manager for buildings projects, most notably the redevelopment of ComEd’s Chicago North Facility. This project was especially significant as Primera held the lead design contract for the project and managed the entire design team. Colleen has also played a major part on the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) Program Management team, which aims to achieve uniformity among CPS buildings and provide high-quality outcomes for all Chicago students.
