Bryant Hawkins is a program and project manager in Primera’s Transportation Division with deep experience leading large‑scale construction programs and complex public‑sector infrastructure projects. He takes a practical, detail‑oriented approach to managing planning, coordination, and execution, with a steady focus on schedule, budget, quality, and performance.
Throughout his career, Bryant has supported roadway reconstruction, pedestrian and bicycle improvements, ADA compliance programs, and utility infrastructure projects, often in busy urban settings. He works closely with engineers, contractors, and agency partners, helping guide projects from early planning through construction. Known for his collaborative style and straightforward communication, Bryant is focused on building strong teams and keeping projects moving in the right direction. “Successful construction projects really come down to coordination, trust, and follow‑through,” Bryant says. “I try to bring people together, address issues early, and make sure the work we deliver serves communities for years to come.”
Before joining Primera, Bryant held leadership roles with the Chicago Department of Transportation and the Chicago Department of Water Management, where he managed citywide construction and capital improvement programs and led multidisciplinary technical teams. His hands‑on experience and problem‑solving mindset make him a valuable partner on complex transportation and infrastructure efforts.
Bryant earned a Bachelor of Science in Soil Science from Iowa State University, a background that continues to inform his approach to construction management and infrastructure delivery.
