James Enright is one of Primera’s most experienced electrical engineering experts. James’s energy and passion for his work make clients happy to collaborate with Primera. “I’m eager to help Primera grow in the Rocky Mountain area by strengthening our staff, networks, and relationships,” said James. He has more than 20 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, mostly in the Denver, Colorado area. James has extensive knowledge in the municipal market, having worked on countless City and County projects since 2011. The scope of his responsibilities includes electrical system design, project management, code research, specification writing, quality review, staff development, and project oversight.
James studied electrical engineering at the Colorado School of Mines before building his electrical engineering resume over the course of the next two decades. James has been deeply integrated with the management and oversight of several Denver International Airport (DEN) projects including the DEN Concourse A and B expansion projects and as the lead for the power design team for both the DEN South Terminal and Public Transit Center.
When he is not working, James likes to spend time with his young daughter. He enjoys home improvement projects and spending time outdoors playing golf or snowboarding. He is also very active with the Independent Electrical Contractors, Rocky Mountain Chapter and has had the opportunity to meet and work with several electrical contracting companies through the organization.
