Stacie Dovalovsky leads our transportation division with a focus on people. “Whether I’m mentoring my team or engaging with stakeholders on a project, listening is powerful tool,” she explains. “The best solutions respond to the needs of others,” she continues. Her passion for people-focused solutions is the result of more than 20 years of experience managing, planning, designing, and constructing transportation engineering projects. She specializes in roadway, site civil, and bridge design; corridor and feasibility studies; public involvement; inspections; environmental assessments and impact statements; construction engineering; and capital improvement and asset management plans.
Stacie studied civil engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign before joining a Midwest-based civil engineering firm. In more than 20 years there, she grew from Project Engineer to Department Manager and then Area Manager by combining her expertise in the transportation arena with a unique ability to listen to what clients, stakeholders, and staff really need. She earned her MBA from DePaul University in 2011 and joined Primera in early 2021 committed to helping our clients develop the right solutions for their transportation issues.
When she’s not leading our transportation team forward, Stacie and her family love to travel. From Disney World to Europe and Australia, they love to see the world from as many perspectives as possible. Her active family loves to camp, often visiting our National parks, and will take any opportunity to bike, hike, ski, or kayak.
