We are excited to announce that Primera Engineers has been honored for the third year in a row as one of the largest women-owned businesses in the Chicagoland area for 2024, according to Crain’s Chicago Business. Released on September 30th, the 2024 list features the largest women-owned businesses in the region based on revenue from 2022 to 2023, and highlights organizations with at least 51% female ownership.
Primera, under the leadership of President & CEO Erin Inman, has seen consistent growth since she took over the company from its retiring co-founders Michael DeSantiago and Pedro Cevallos-Candau in 2016. Recently, Primera made a strategic acquisition of Denver-based Corey Electrical Engineering, Inc., marking an important milestone and highlighting Primera’s dedication to nationwide expansion.
“I’m honored to lead the largest woman-owned engineering company in the region,” states Inman. “Primera’s success is a direct result of the hard work and commitment of our over 350 team members across the country who strive to meet our clients’ goals every day. I’m looking forward to what the future holds for the firm,” she adds. Primera would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the other 61 remarkable firms recognized on the list.
