As part of the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) Relationships and Opportunities Advancing Diversity (ROAD) Program, Primera had the pleasure of hosting the 2024 Fall Mixer last week in Dallas, Texas. The memorable evening involved an engaging game of networking Bingo, refreshing food and beverages, and brief presentations from the co-hosting firms. With nearly 90 attendees, the Fall Mixer set a new record as the most attended NTTA ROAD Mixer to date. Primera would like to thank HDR, Bartlett & West, and Cascade, our co-hosts, for helping us put together such a successful event.
The NTTA ROAD Program fosters opportunities for disadvantaged, minority and woman-owned business enterprises (D/M/WBE) to participate in large contracts with the Tollway. Through the ROAD Program, smaller, protégé firms, like Primera, partner with a mentor firm to enhance their capabilities and build the essential relationships needed to compete for larger Texas contracts.
This year, members of Primera’s Transportation team have traveled frequently to Texas, strengthening our business relationships and making new connections. Primera has established a significant aviation presence in the Dallas area and has contributed to various projects at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Currently, Primera is diligently working to earn the technical qualifications required for submittal on certain Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) contracts and projects.
“The ROAD Program has opened the door to several opportunities here in Texas that we would not have had otherwise,” says Stacie Dovalovsky, Senior Vice President and Transportation Division Manager. “The relationships we’ve built with the other firms are one of a kind and are continuously teaching us how to navigate the Texas transportation space.”
Thank you again to NTTA and our co-hosting firms for helping us put together a great Fall Mixer! Read more about Primera’s involvement in the NTTA ROAD Program here.
