1. This July, Primera was heartbroken by the loss of our long-time executive and friend, Michael E. Belczak, PE, CPD. Mike dedicated 30 years to our Buildings division, making a profound impact on our mechanical department and on numerous projects spanning several building sectors. To honor his legacy, Primera, through the Primera Foundation, will be establishing an annual scholarship in his name. Learn more about Mike and his influence here.
2. In 2025 we wished a heartfelt congratulations to Anne Stilson Cope on her well-deserved retirement! Anne’s remarkable career as owner of Corey Electrical Engineering, Inc. led her to Primera when we acquired her firm in 2024. Anne brought her expertise and enthusiasm to Primera, developing and maintaining client relationships in the Rocky Mountain region, spearheading Primera’s expansion to Denver, CO. 3. Primera welcomed Mark Ellis to our substation team as Substation Department Manager in March. Mark’s technical knowledge and strong leadership skills make him a unique asset to Primera’s utilities team. His expertise has enhanced our service offering and supports our clients. 4. Additionally, we welcomed Christine Measamer to our Utilities division as Civil/Structural Department Manager. Based in Delaware, Christine now leads Primera’s Utilities Civil/Structural team with a focus on the customer experience. Her widespread expertise, ranging from nuclear generation to stakeholder engagement and influence, allows Christine to lead with a people-first approach and collaborative nature. 5. Congratulations to our Primera employees, Oscar Rivera and Nick Sternowski who were promoted to Vice President in 2025! Oscar Rivera, Esq., Vice President, General Counsel, serves as Primera’s in-house counsel, handling a wide range of legal responsibilities across various disciplines for the firm. Nick Sternowski, Vice President, Senior Director of Operations, oversees comprehensive operations for Primera and his list of accomplishments is extensive.
