Primera is excited to welcome Dan Marron as a project management leader within our flourishing Utilities division. Dan’s highly technical background together with his project leadership experience will ensure that our cross functional teams collaborate effectively to safeguard a project’s completion. As Project Delivery Group Manager, Dan will support members of our project management and delivery teams by ensuring compliance, looking for efficiencies, and facilitating success across all our comprehensive utility services.

Dan joins Primera with 30 years of experience in research, engineering design, and project and people management. Most recently he’s focused on managing transmission and substation projects and programs for a large electric utility in Illinois. While there, he provided technical manager oversight on projects and led the creation of automated data analytic solutions. Prior to that, Dan’s first career was as a university researcher where he performed both basic and applied field transportation research. He has designed, constructed, installed, and operated autonomous structural health monitoring systems on significant transportation infrastructure throughout the country. Dan earned his Master of Science degree in project management from Northwestern University and his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Illinois Benedictine College. He has lent his knowledge and expertise to professional organizations and has written scholarly articles for several publications. Dan brings an innovation focus to his work to this day, inspired by an early career success obtaining a patent for a novel industrial coating process.
