Grand Prairie Gateway Project Management Support

The Grand Prairie Gateway project, the largest in history for its managing utility, is a 60-mile long transmission line from Byron to Elgin, Illinois. Stretching across four counties, construction of the new transmission line will reduce grid congestion and increase customer access to lower-cost generation. The project’s impact is significant as it’s projected to reduce carbon emissions by 473,000 tons over the course of 15 years.

Primera’s consulting services include: project management support driving the real estate acquisition process; processing of legal documentation and coordination with contractors; serving as the single point of contact for the right-of-way (ROW) clearing responsibilities; streamlining the material tracking and delivery process; assisting with process improvement for forecast, schedule and budget; coordinating and submitting rail road crossing requests; providing weekly updates to affected counties; as well as dealing with tenant and landowner concerns and processed, tracked and delivered payments for easements and property damage.
