The Kane County Division of Transportation partnered with Primera to provide preliminary and design engineering services to remove and replace an existing culvert across a tributary to Welch Creek along Harter Road in Kane County, Illinois.
The project included detailed topographic surveys; well, septic field, and field tile investigation and surveying; environmental and geotechnical studies, including wetland delineation and Clean Construction or Demolition Debris (CCDD) screening analysis; hydrology, hydraulics, and modeled analysis for structure sizing and typing; replacement structure, roadway geometry, profile, shoulder, and guardrail design; land acquisition negotiations along with plats and legal descriptions as required for land acquisition; and maintenance of traffic plan.
Primera also provided permitting assistance, which included submittals for wetland, stormwater, and erosion permitting to the United States Army Corps of Engineers and County agencies.
