Primera Engineers is excited to announce that Tricia Cox has been promoted to Consulting Department Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. In her expanded role, Tricia will frame, guide, and support strategic training, client relationships, and exploratory initiatives.
Tricia’s expertise comes from 20 years of experience in the utility industry involving operations and maintenance program development and management. Her focus and passion include developing and improving operational performance and providing the “front line” staff with the right tools to become a more efficient organization. Her extensive knowledge is significant in serving Primera and our clients at the highest level.
Tricia attended York College of Pennsylvania where she earned her bachelor’s degree in engineering management. Since 2011 and prior to joining Primera, Tricia was the owner of PJ Cox Consulting LLC providing independent consulting support to her clients. Tricia also worked as a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Utility Advisory Division where she developed and operated Project Control organizations for major capital build projects and developed and executed unit costing processes for programmatic work. Additionally, she’s worked as a Utility Manager, establishing Project and Contract Controls departments with collective and individual visibility to the contractor community performance.
Since joining Primera in 2018, Tricia has truly proven her commitment to our core values. She has played a key role in developing our consulting client base and offerings in the Mid-Atlantic region and has successfully executed several client initiatives, mostly focused on utility gas operations and geographic information system (GIS) programs. Trevor Leeds, Vice President and Consulting Division Manager, notes that Tricia “has a passion toward building strong relationships and consistently meeting the needs of our clients. She is a true embodiment of Primera’s culture.” Throughout all her projects Tricia ensures a successful and collaborative working client-customer relationship.
