We are pleased to announce the well-deserved promotion of Laura Wand to Senior Support Services Group Manager. Laura has been an integral part of our team since 2012, consistently demonstrating her commitment to efficiency, process improvement, and innovative solutions in document control. Laura’s expertise lies in drafting and drawing management, where she has served as a single point of contact for large utility clients. Her leadership in managing multiple CAD teams has been instrumental in our success. In her new role, Laura will collaborate closely with new clients, addressing their priority needs in CAD, GIS, and document control services.

With over 25 years of experience in the power utility industry, Laura brings not only technical expertise but also a genuine passion for people. Beyond her professional achievements, Laura remains dedicated to our local communities. For over a decade, she has served as Primera’s SERVICE Committee Co-Chair. The committee actively supports various charitable causes throughout the year, reflecting Laura’s passion for making a positive impact beyond the office. Laura holds an Associate of Science in electrical and mechanical CAD design from Morrison Institute and a Certificate in Management from Waubonsee Community College. She also received her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification earlier this year.
