Primera assisted ComEd with document control support services to check drawing/document accuracy before and after the update from Meridian Document Management System v2012 to the updated v2020. This encompassed all of the electronic substation drawings/documents currently in flight and the commencement of new projects. Primera identified training gaps and brought the ComEd team up to speed with the new Meridian Project Workflow. The team supported the uncovering of Master drawing discrepancies, project revision conflicts, drawing auditing, and Meridian drawing reports. The project included coordination between ComEd departments including, but not limited to, substation engineering, drafting, project management, and external consulting firms. As of next year, Primera will hold this contract for 8 years.
