Our Utilities division is a talented team of experts working together to provide solutions that are vital to energizing our future. We provide full-service electrical, civil, and structural engineering services to support electric and gas utilities nationwide. We’re also fortunate to support wind farms and renewables; transmissions systems; and university and industrial facilities.
Who You Are
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional organizational abilities in a dynamic environment, a disciplined approach to accomplishing objectives and achieving results, effective communication and team-building skills, and a knowledge of project management principles.
- Previous experience with Deltek Vision and/or Newforma is a plus

- Demonstrates the ability to stay patient and show empathy towards others in stressful situations.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering Management, Project Management, or Electrical/Systems/Mechanical/Civil Engineering with eight years of relevant experience
- PMP or PE required
What You'll Do
General Summary:
- The Group Manager will be responsible for overall project planning, monitoring, and control for the delivery of engineering service projects to multiple utility providers.
- They will have a team reporting directly to them.
- The Group Manager will report to the Department Manager of Project Delivery.
- They will work with Project Managers, Project Leads, Project Manager Assistants and the Permit Team.
- They will work to establish, review, report, update, and assure conformance to project plans to meet our customer’s requirements.
- The Group Manager will utilize our enterprise financial and project management information systems to develop and/or monitor proposal and project milestone schedules, task and action item plans, resource plans and forecasts, project budgets and forecasts, financial performance reports, and accounts receivables.
- The Group Manager will also perform as a Project Manager on designated projects, as well as assist the Department Manager with assigned management tasks.
