Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering Management, Project Management, or Electrical/Systems/Mechanical/Civil Engineering with eight years of relevant experience
  • PMP or PE required

What You'll Do

General Summary: The Group Manager will be responsible for overall project planning, monitoring, and control for the delivery of engineering service projects to multiple utility providers.  They will have a team reporting directly to them.  The Group Manager will report to the Department Manager of Project Delivery.  They will work with Project Managers, Project Leads, Project Manager Assistants and the Permit Team. They will work to establish, review, report, update, and assure conformance to project plans to meet our customer’s requirements.  The Group Manager will utilize our enterprise financial and project management information systems to develop and/or monitor proposal and project milestone schedules, task and action item plans, resource plans and forecasts, project budgets and forecasts, financial performance reports, and accounts receivables.  The Group Manager will also perform as a Project Manager on designated projects, as well as assist the Department Manager with assigned management tasks.

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering Management, Project Management, or Electrical/Systems/Mechanical/Civil Engineering with eight years of relevant experience.  Essential requirements for the position include exceptional organizational abilities in a dynamic environment, a disciplined approach to accomplishing objectives and achieving results, effective communication and team building skills, and a knowledge of project management principles.  Previous experience with Deltek Vision and/or Newforma is a plus.
