I appreciate all of the opportunities to give back to our community, such as supporting New Life for Haiti and Rebuilding Together. I especially enjoy and value all of the support Primera has given to furthering women in STEM and our participation in the CONSTRUCT program. I am continually inspired by the individuals and organizations that Primera works with.

Primera is fun. I love coming to work here every day, and I have for the past 20+ years. It's a mix of great people, great projects, and challenging work. I get up in the morning, and I'm excited to come into the office.

It’s great working for people who are not only committed to building long-lasting and quality relationships with our clients, but people who apply that same concept to our internal team! Primera encourages growth and development within a work/life balanced environment, making it possible for us to reach our individual potential. I joined Primera as an administrative assistant and had the opportunity to join the marketing department just two years later.

I have been working for engineering firms for 20 years. Primera is the first company that made me feel like part of a family and not just an employee number. That “family feel” really helps us work well as a team.

From the day I got here, I've felt like I've been working here for years. I wish I had. The people and the culture are amazing. They truly believe in empowering individuals to be the expert in their field, and stand behind that in allowing you to do what you do best. They offer all the guidance and freedom you need to excel. And it's hard not to notice Primera's commitment to social responsibility. Our founders were passionate about it and it ripples through the entire company today.

I've been working with my key managers for over five years now, and I've learned so much from them. They give me opportunities to have client-facing discussions and be in difficult situations, but they also back me up and help me grow and know how to get through them. I feel like I can reach out to them, but I also have [confidence] that I can deal with a new situation on my own.

One of the things Primera really allows us to do is to grow in our disciplines. It allows us to explore in a safe environment, where we make mistakes and learn from those mistakes. It helps us grow into the exceptional employees that we are.

I love how multicultural Primera is. Not only does it make for varied opinions and approaches to solving problems, but you get to learn about each other’s very different backgrounds and personal perspectives. Just over lunch you can learn so much. The downside is it ends with you adding even more places to visit to your wish list!
