Primera Engineers, Ltd. is pleased to announce the promotion of Melissa Helphingstine to Consulting Department Manager. Melissa is Primera’s leading consulting program manager responsible for helping our clients through energy efficiency program design and administration.

In her role, Melissa has embraced Primera’s commitment to providing exceptional expertise with superb service. Since joining Primera in 2014, she has become an instrumental part of our team. She is a natural leader in program management, energy program design and benchmarking; portfolio balancing and optimization; environmental policy, sustainable solutions, contract procurement and negotiations; regulatory compliance, and quality assurance and control.

Melissa studied both landscape architecture and environmental policy at The University of Illinois before joining CB&I (formerly Shaw E&I, Inc.) where she refined her program management skills and managed statewide energy programs. In addition to serving as Sustainability Specialist and Energy Program Manager she also negotiated, executed and managed an $86 million long-term contract for energy program implementers with Future Energy Enterprises. Her position at Primera allows her to leverage her sustainability background combined with her program management expertise to the benefit of our clients.
