Primera is pleased to welcome Dennis Odegaard, PE as our new Distribution Department Manager in our Utilities division. Working remotely from his home office in Denver, Colorado, Dennis will lead and manage our electrical distribution engineering team. Dennis will oversee a team of more than 30 engineers and designers and will continue to push the firm’s distribution efforts as we expand our service offerings to utilities nationwide.
Dennis joins Primera with 19 years of electric utility experience, specializing in distribution operations, distribution design, project management, and customer service. Prior to joining Primera, Dennis spent a year consulting for utilities and assisted in managing the ReliabilityOne program, which identifies and celebrates the most reliable utilities in the U.S. Dennis also worked at ComEd for 18 years where he worked his way up from designer to manager of Large Projects and Large Customer Services groups. He specialized in DER integration and energy efficiency programs, as well as managing power quality and reliability concerns. He is also well versed in business financials, outage management and restoration, and reliability systems and processes. Dennis received a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
