In response to new and innovative bicycle and pedestrian facilities proposed and built in the Chicago Metropolitan Area, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is embarking on a five-year study to analyze the safety and feasibility of bicycle and pedestrian accommodations in the District One public right-of-way.
Primera was retained by IDOT to perform various safety and feasibility studies throughout various counties and locations, coordinate with Departments of Transportation nationwide and provide recommendations for changes to the Bureau of Design and Environment and Bureau of Local Roads Manuals.
