As head of Primera’s utilities-focused civil and structural team, Christine Measamer is dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders, with a particular emphasis on work-life balance. “Ensuring a healthy balance is crucial not only for our employees’ well-being but also for delivering the best results to our clients,” she explains. “When our team is balanced and thriving, it translates into more innovative and effective solutions for our clients.” Christine’s nearly 20 years of expertise spans nuclear generation, transmission and substation engineering, structural/civil engineering, and project and program management.
Christine attended The Ohio State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. She also holds both a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Villanova University. Before joining Primera, Christine held several leadership roles with Pepco Holdings including manager of transmission & substation engineering, senior manager of energy efficiency/electrification/electric vehicle programs, and most recently as the senior manager for Smart Grid and Innovation with a focus on application support, advanced analytics, and drone programs. Prior to Pepco Holdings, she supported numerous utilities across the country as a lead structural engineer in the nuclear generation industry.
Outside of work, Christine has many hobbies including knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and their three cats. She is also working on obtaining her private pilot license, with her husband serving as her instructor. Christine is actively involved in her community, volunteering with several local organizations including the Center for Common Ground, the Food Bank of Delaware and the National Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
