Primera Engineers is happy to announce that Brad Davis has been promoted to GIS Group Manager on our Consulting team. As a geospatial expert, Brad has been dedicated to creating efficiencies by developing and sustaining new processes since joining Primera in 2018. He has served as project manager coordinating efforts for our GIS mapping and field teams to capture highly accurate, complete data in the field and migrate it into GIS environments. In his new role, Brad will lead and manage all aspects of the GIS group while continuing to serve as our GIS point of contact among our stakeholders. Additionally, he will focus his efforts on growing our GIS services and continue to engage partners in improving the availability, quality, and accuracy of geospatial information.

Since joining our Consulting team, Brad has gone above and beyond not only proving his technical expertise, but also demonstrating his commitment to the advancement of our firm by living out our core values. He’s a mentor to many of our younger consultants and is passionate about researching and learning new things. “Brad is a team-oriented leader that enjoys collaboration,” notes Trevor Leeds, Vice President and Consulting Division Manager. “However, one of the best parts about him is that he is also a strategic thinker who gets to the bottom of addressing our clients’ geospatial information needs,” he continues.

Brad’s 15 years of experience includes on-site consulting acquiring, creating, and managing GIS data; interfacing with public and private stakeholders and representing agencies at events, roundtables, and meetings. He has also co-led change management projects involving analysts, field crews, process experts and engineers, and has experience with custom software development projects. Brad received his Master of Science in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Maryland – Baltimore County. He is also a certified Geographical Information Systems Professional (GISP).
