Primera Engineers is pleased to announce the promotion of Joseph (Joe) Geddis, PE, to Distribution Group Manager for the Mid-Atlantic team of our Utilities division. Joe has been a lead utility team engineer and a significant part of Primera’s growth in the region. The role formalizes his leadership of his Distribution team and oversight of projects for utilities across the East Coast.

Joe has a decade of experience working on varying utility projects throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. He joined Primera in early 2016 as our first full-time engineer on the East Coast. Today, Primera employs more than 30 engineers, designers, and consultants based out of our Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania office.

Joe has been involved in Primera’s projects from the proposal stage to commissioning. His experience includes utility distribution design, ETAP studies, power delivery center design, factory acceptance testing, field testing, commissioning, and the identification of risk areas and cost saving opportunities for electrical designs.
